On 21 December 2018, within the splendid setting of the Teatro Sociale in Bergamo, the International Heart School Onlus Foundation was awarded a silver medal and Civic Merit. The prize was presented by the Mayor of Bergamo, Giorgio Gori, and the President of the Municipal Council, Marzia Marchesi. The prize was received by the Vice President of the IHS, Dr Marco Venier, and the Scientific Director of the IHS, Prof. Paolo Ferrazzi. Also present at the evening were Dr Kokor, Dr Abag-Dem and Dr Matiashvili, students of the school.
